Prayer changes things and it changes us in the process. We are learning to depend more upon God and literally have seen that “unless the Lord builds the house” the floors can crack due to weak cement mixtures! It is too easy to push ahead in our own strength and we want to deliberately choose to lean on God and praying is one way to do that.
We have seen God continue to provide salaries for our team and medicine and nets for every child that we care for. We are grateful to each one of our friends who has responded so generously and we want to pray a blessing on them and their house too!
Our base has taken shape. We have called it “Mirembe” which means PEACE and would ask that you pray that this would be the experience of everyone who lives and visits us there.
Please pray for the nation of Uganda at this time as elections loom and uncertainty is never far away. We want to see God’s Presence and Blessings flow there to all of those children whom we love.
