Praying for Rain to Fall from Heaven
The dry season has been going for a few months now and it should have ended. Farmers are waiting to sow their much needed crops to sustain their families. Official predictions suggest that there may be no real rain until May and that half of the nation will suffer unless something changes. "El Nina" is being blamed for the drought just as "El Nino" brought flooding last year.
This is not a time to feel pity for the poor in another nation but it is an opportunity to call out to a loving God and ask Him both for a break in the weather pattern and also for what we can do to help these families at risk right now.
