Sam Goes Shopping! Borrowing the local miller's weighing scales worked for April (just) but Sam was finding it difficult to deal with a queue of hungry mothers and children when the scales kept disappearing. It was reasonable for the miller to borrow them back but it turned the job of food distribution into a bit of a challenge... and especially when a pair of inconsistent scales made a brief appearance as an alternative! This month Sam will be feeding the 384 families again but THIS TIME Helping Hands has its own weighing scales.
