Extra Care Needed
Some children seem to survive anything but others need special help to get through. Doreen has struggled to make it through this year, suffering from malaria and infections due to her weakened state from malnutrition. The odds are stacked against her in the normal run of things due to her brain damage from cerebral malaria and the lack of support from her family apart from her elderly Grandmother. However, God does not see things as we do and through the loving care of Joy and Janepher we have watched as Doreen has come through one challenge after another.
Today she is at the local health centre again with Joy, investigating why she is still poorly even after a high protein diet over the last few weeks. We want to pray that we can get to the bottom of what is wrong and see her healed through healthcare or directly by the hand of God. Join us in praying!
