Spring Chicken Ball! 19th March 2012
Around 90 of us gathered for our first ever Spring Ball and we had a blast! Witney Lakes Resort did us proud and after we had eaten well, learnt a little about Helping Hands then the dancing began and it didn't stop until after midnight... apart from the break for our already famous chicken racing (clockwork not real!) Thanks to everyone who attended we were able to raise over £1400 to kick start our new chicken project which will enable AIDS orphans to begin to create an income for themselves by selling eggs.
We are also thankful to the following for providing raffle prizes: Cotswold Gateway in Burford, The Fleece in Witney, Philosophy in Witney, John Lewis, Witney Lakes, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Hartwell Ford, Shaan in Witney, Burford Laundry and Co-op in Carterton.
