Let it Rain! 5th April 2012

It is officially the rainy season in Uganda but right now the rain clouds have been failing to make their way from lake Victoria along the Nile to our area in Kamuli District. Janepher has yet to plant our field as the ground is too dry. Maize should have been planted in February so once more we are looking at a delayed harvest which makes life more precarious for vulnerable families. Our plans to trial a water conserving means of farming look right on target and our constant turning to God in prayer seems the most appropriate response.
