I remember someone once saying that there is no retirement in the kingdom of God. If there was we would not have the legacy of Noah, Moses and Abraham for one thing! It is a sadness that many see their latter years as useless to society but it is a great joy when we see others buck our society's perceptions and continue to make a difference. May Brookes has just celebrated her 99th birthday and asked her children to give to the children of Uganda rather than to shower her with more flowers and chocolates... as a result we will be able to support another vulnerable child through a whole year. We are never to old to change the world one life at a time!
