Bett is a Scottish lady who is making an amazing difference to lots of our children. She, along with several others, spend hours knitting the most colourful blankets that you could imagine. We watch with joy as children orphaned by AIDS, with so little in their lives, get to choose their own blanket and wrap themselves up in all of that colour and softness. Truly a comfort blanket! Bett began this in response to the tales that so many of these children had no blankets but were simply covered with a relative's dirty dress once they had removed it for the day. This practical response helps these young ones to feel loved again and valued. We appreciate the army of wonderful ladies who knit for our children and those who also scour the sales looking for lovely dresses and shirts for them. Thank you and bless you all!
