Living as a Family 15th May 2012
Helping Hands is officially a registered charity and church based friends may consider us a ministry but our bottom line is that we are a family. To this end we share much joy and laughter but also the aches and pains of life. For Sam and Joy this is a painful time as his brother's grandchild, Patience, is dying of cancer. What had seemed like toothache last year has spread to her brain and now she cannot walk despite receiving radiotherapy in one of the Kampala hospitals. Sam texted me (Debbie writing) to ask us to pray for this little 7 year old girl and her immediate family. This is a time when we want to release the love and goodness of God into a situation that feels so devoid of anything positive. This is a time to stand together as a family across the miles. Thanks for joining in with us.
