Sharon... a little treasure 26th February

Sharon is one of the many children that we know and love and have cared for since 2004. In the early days she was a lively girl but recently she has begun to suffer from epilepsy. Some of our UK friends have helped her to receive expert care from consultants in Kampala for which she and her family are extremely grateful. It is truly making a difference and she has been allowed to return to school, albeit joining a lower class so that she might catch up. Her dream of learning to drive and being my driver is back on track!

Mark and I saw her at our "African Wedding" when she presented Mark with a chicken as a way of thanking us for all that Helping Hands does. Though she had fallen that day, as all children do, she brightened as she left the day with the bridal bouquet! Please pray a blessing on her today and ask God to give her a good term, full of fun and learning too.
