Janepher is one of our "little but larger than life" health educators. Last week she had to be referred to the local health centre due to abdominal pains which were unbearable for her. It seems that she needs to be referred to a better equipped facility and we are praying for her as she decides what to do. Each health choice involves money for Ugandans and so they do not rush for help in the same way that we do with the NHS (National Health Service for non-UK readers). These ladies are incredibly tough but they hurt just like us.
