We all have moments when we doubt our worth and for some of us those moments add up and overwhelm us. There are no easy answers to how any of us feel about ourselves and how we handle the hurt that others can inflict on us but we do know that the solution always begins with LOVE. The children we work with and care for are often neglected and many of them have been abused in one way or another. Helping Hands cannot solve every problem and we cannot answer every cry but we do know that starting to see that you are loved by a good God who wants to be a father to you is the best way forward.Joy, Janepher and Florence take assemblies in every school that we work in and there they have the opportunity to explain this wonderful love to the children. First they see it in what we do and then they hear it in what we say. The order is very important!!! Watching children literally drink in the good news that they are loved is humbling and nothing moved me more (Debbie writing) than watching this little one agree that everything under their hands was special and loved by God.
